I love the creative process, as well as a one of a kind finished product. I've been sewing since high school. I let it go for a while during the years, but have picked it up again. Spent a decade pegging pants for my punk rocker son and his friends, then my daughter became involved in The Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast, so now it is costumes.
I made a purse for my daughter for Christmas one year and she kept getting comments on it. She convinced me to open my own business. That is how Double Feature Designs was started. I've expanded my business from fabric bags to hand knitted and felted wool bags. It’s all a creative process, that results in real satisfaction when a project is done.
Check out the costumes from RHPS. I hope you enjoy what I have done.
I'm also open to trying to create other costumes that I haven't already made from the RHPS, so if there is something specific you are looking for from the movie, or even from other movies, shows, or costumes feel free to let me know!
